How soon will my account be set up and ready for use?
Account orders are placed in a queue and are processed in the order in
which they are received. Your site can be uploaded to our servers as soon
as your domain name resolves to our server DNS, usually within 24-48 hours.
You will receive our welcome mail within 24 hours.
Do I have access to update my site 24 hours a day?
Absolutely. Whether you're a day person or a night owl, your site is available
for you to update.
How do you offer "unlimited space" and "unlimited
bandwidth"?
Technically speaking, there is no such thing as "unlimited bandwidth",
however, our co-located servers in our data center are on an unmetered
10mbps connection to the net. As for unlimited disk space, so long as
you follow our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) , we will continuously upgrade
our hard drives to meet your needs.
Do you host Adult sites, warez sites or sites containing illegal material?
Anything that is illegal, No. Please see our Acceptable
Use Policy for policies regarding this.
Is my site backed up and how often?
We perform Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly backup. However, it is the clients responsibility
to do all backups of their site. If, in the unfortunate event, something
happens to your files, it is your responsibility to have a local copy
of your files. We are NOT held liable in any way for any files, money,
time, effort, etc... lost due to this unfortunate event. Furthermore,
if your files are lost, we will attempt to restore them as a gesture of
good faith, but make no promises what so ever about whether the files
will be brought back successfully or not. Again, back ups are the client's
responsibility.
How fast are your connections?
Our servers connect to multiple Tier-1 and Tier-2 providers. The backbone
picks up transit and peering connectivity at multiple carrier neutral
data centers, including Telehouse and Equinix. The network is monitored
around the clock. Our data centers have multiple transit providers at
each node, and each node is connected via high speed oc3 and gigabit ethernet
private leased lines.
What are your server specifications?
Our newest servers feature Dual Intel Xeon 3.0GHz processors with 2GB
Ram and 10k RPM hard drives.
Technical Questions
I changed my control panel password and now I can't get in.
Passwords are case sensitive. If you face any problem
after the change, kindly email us at Host@USBHosting.com.
How do I get my email?
If you're familiar with your email client's setup, use the following information
to retrieve email from your POP account:
Incoming mail (POP3) server: yourdomain.com
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: yourdomain.com
Your username is your email address.
I want to get started right away, but my domain name hasn't transferred/isn't
in the database yet. How do I do it?
After your domain is fully propagated through the system, you can upload
to yourdomain.com via FTP or FrontPage Extensions.
What is the path to perl?

Where should I put CGI scripts for my domain?
All CGI scripts should be uploaded to the cgi-bin folder, for your domain.
Be sure to follow the instructions for the script you are uploading regarding
setting permissions on the files and folders you create, as they vary
from script to script
I uploaded my latest changes, but I don't see my page?
This is mainly due to cache issues. There are 2 types of cache, PC cache
and ISP cache. The cache should clear by itself within a few days. To
ensure that all changes are uploaded to the server, you will need to bypass
the cache by adding "?a=b" at the end of the url. For example,
http://www.yourdomain.com/index.html?a=b. You should be able to view your
latest changes immediately.
Account and Billing Questions
Can I upgrade my plan or features later?
You can purchase new or expanded features, or upgrade to a new plan. There
is no set up fee for upgrading.
How can I change my account or billing information?
If you need to update your account or billing information
please contact us at Host@USBHosting.com.
How do I cancel my Account?
You can cancel your account at any time by sending email
to Host@USBHosting.com. There are no cancellation fees.
Any fees paid to that point are non-refundable, unless
cancellation is made within 30 days of opening the account.

What about billing and over due policies?
Accounts will be given a grace period of 7 days, if payment is not received
within the grace period your account will be deleted from our servers.
Accounts will be suspended immediately after 3 email reminders.
